Asheley Cockrell Skinner, PhD, is a health services researcher focused on addressing a variety of issues related to health policy. She trained at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received her PhD in health policy and administration in 2007. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Duke Clinical Research Institute, where she leads and participates in many projects centered on appropriate uses of policies to improve behaviors, including obesity, adolescent health and substance use.
