Daniel Raymond is the Policy Director for the Harm Reduction Coalition, a national advocacy and capacity-building organization focused on health issues related to drug use. Mr. Raymond leads national, state and local advocacy efforts to advance strategies addressing the intersection of substance use and health. His current work focuses on opioid overdose, syringe access, Hepatitis C and HIV prevention for people who inject drugs, and coverage of harm reduction and addiction treatment and recovery services. Efforts include developing policies and strategies to expand access to the opioid overdose reversal drug naloxone as part of comprehensive strategies to end the opioid and heroin overdose crisis. He has worked in the fields of syringe exchange and harm reduction for over two decades.
