Dr. Joseph Hsu, MD, is an Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon at Carolinas HealthCare System and has more than 10 years of experience as an orthopaedic traumatologist. He received his undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy and completed residency and trauma fellowship at Tulane University in the Department of Orthopaedic Trauma and Adult Reconstruction. Dr. Hsu has clinical expertise in surgical interventions, limb salvage, orthopaedic infections, pelvic fractures and acetabular fractures. His current research interests are in combat-related trauma, Rx drug overdoses, trauma preparedness and outcome measures.
