Dr. Yngvild Olsen, MD, MPH, is Medical Director of the Institutes for Behavior Resources Inc. in Baltimore City, MD, a comprehensive outpatient substance use disorder treatment program. She has previously served as the Vice President of Clinical Affairs for the Baltimore Substance Abuse Systems, the Deputy Health Officer for the Harford County Health Department, and as the Medical Director for the Johns Hopkins Hospital’s outpatient substance use treatment services. Dr. Olsen currently serves on the Board of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), and as the Co-Chair of ASAM’s Public Policy Committee. Dr. Olsen received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School, completed residency training in internal medicine at Boston Medical Center, and a Fellowship in General Internal Medicine at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She holds a master’s in public health from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.
