Hooshang Shanehsaz, RPh, has been a Professional member of the Delaware Board of Pharmacy since 2014 and is currently Vice President. Previously, he served two terms as President of the Delaware Pharmacist Society. He has been a member of the Prescription Drug Action Committee since 2012, and has chaired the Control Subcommittee since 2014. While a member of Delaware Board of Pharmacy, Mr. Shanehsaz served on several committees including Chair of the Legislative Committee, and as a member of Compounding Committee, Patient Safety Committee, Collaborative Care committee, and liaison to Controlled Substance Advisory Committee. He has been active in projects to establish Drug Drop-Off Boxes at police stations and community access to naloxone. Mr. Shanehsaz has held various pharmacist positions during his career with Cardinal Health and Rite Aid Pharmacy after earning his bachelor’s degree from Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University.
